The Waverly Chamber Music Series (WCMS) is continuing their 2025-26 season by welcoming Dr. Madeline Rogers, an accomplished pianist, educator, and scholar, on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. in the Narthex of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church & School, located at 301 1st Street NW in Waverly.
Originally from Eldorado, Illinois, Rogers holds a Master of Music from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music as well as a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Nebraska.
Rogers has worked alongside contemporary artists including Victoria Bond and H. Leslie Adams. Rogers also performs with her ensemble, Trio Risoluto, and serves as Assistant Professor of Keyboard Studies at Berea College. She is also the Co-Artistic Director of AmadeusLex, a nonprofit chamber music organization based in Lexington, Kentucky.
The WCMS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing communities together to enjoy music. Because WCMS believes music should be accessible to everyone, these events are free to the public, with free-will donations.
